My dates might be a little off but for the most part there are several sets of jerseys (red and white) were used for all years and by mulitple players. You might notice one exception to this is the National Championship games where they wore jerseys without the stripes on the shoulders and sleeves and they actually had the names on the back.
Slight Correction to the above - there were several sets of the stripped jerseys. They were originally issued as "Russell Southern Tags" in the 1967 season. This first set of jerseys appears to have several different styles of font that were used. At some point in the early 1970's the name was changes to just "Russell". There is debate on when the tags were actually changed.

You have to be very careful with jerseys from this game. All the jerseys I have seen from this game are fakes. The dead give away is that if you go back and watch DVD, video or YouTube from this game you will notice that they wore mesh jerseys during the game. I've seen at least four jerseys out there that have all the correct patches and styles, except that they are NON-MESH TEAR-AWAY jerseys. That is not the same as what was used in the actual 1984 Orange Bowl football game. These fake non-mesh orange bowl jerseys also come with a LOA from the Nebraska equipment manager from that time; however they are not mesh jerseys. It is possible that these fake tear-away jerseys were game used jerseys from that year or possible used for backups or photos.
